2019 became a stellar year since my alter ego, JAYE BURKE, took over and is directing me down new and exciting paths in the literary world. There is no telling where she’ll take me, but I’m sure historical fiction and romance will be at the top of the list. Judith M. McManus is still alive and well, and will be releasing “GLAMOUR GIRL” in the summer of 2020.
Jaye’s “VENICE” is not a novel about the beautiful city in Italy, but the story of two young lovers, Venice and Etienne. The stage is set in old New Orleans, the aristocratic Garden District, and how wealth and poverty come together on the North Shore of Lake Pontchartrain at the onset of World War I. A short synopsis follows:
It is a tale of love and lovers.
It is a tale of loss.
When they find each other again, it will be a tale of yesterdays…
JAYE BURKE is pushing me to continue writing novels that come from my innermost thoughts and set in the locations I know so well. During our trip to Ireland next year, JAYE will be gathering plenty of ideas from London to Ireland’s west coast, first Ballynahinch Castle, then down the coast to Killarney for future works, since we both love to tell stories set in special locales.
“VENICE” and “GLAMOUR GIRL” are available for pre-order, but the release date on both should be earlier than stated on the product page. For more information on each at this time, click on the book covers to the right.
Happy Holidays to all my family, friends, and followers!
Until next time… JAYE
